Production Blog: General Prep

Image
Hello, it’s Jenna! This is my first Production blog for my movie. Unfortunately I was hit by a mirage of assignments. This means I will have Postpone production for about a week when I can comfortably take my sleep at night. I have also hadn’t gotten a chance to go shopping for my costume for the movie. My partner Janae is going to be the main producer of the video. this is because she has impeccable taste, and is more sure of what to do for this assignment then I. Music and losing my mind

Securing a suitable royalty-free score proved to be a challenging task, but our persistence paid off as we discovered a perfect match for our comedy horror movie. The process of sifting through various music options to find the ideal soundtrack was time-consuming yet rewarding. The track we eventually selected seamlessly complements the tone and atmosphere of our film, enhancing the overall viewing experience for our audience. The collaborative effort between my partner and me in choosing the score reflects our shared vision and commitment to crafting a memorable opening sequence. The thrill of finding the perfect musical piece that resonates with the essence of our movie has added an exciting layer to our creative process. The selected score not only enhances the comedic and horror elements of our film but also helps to establish a unique identity for our p...

As a high school student, my partner and I are working on a short comedy horror film project for a class assignment. We're focusing on shooting just the initial two minutes of our film, aiming for a captivating start. Our filming location of choice is the mall, and we've scheduled it for this upcoming Saturday. The challenge lies in the tight timeframe, as I'll need to rush to work four hours after we wrap up filming. One major obstacle we're encountering is the need to cast another actress for a crucial role in the movie. Despite our efforts in spreading the word, the perfect fit for the role still eludes us. We remain hopeful that we'll secure the ideal actress before the scheduled shoot this weekend. It's essential for the success of our project that we find the right person to bring our character to life. The pressure is on to finalize the casting before we hit the mall set. We're excited about the potential of our film, and we're determined to ove...
